2. research direction of the research group

(1) study on the function and mechanism of breast tumor microenvironment in regulating heterogeneous cancer stem cell metastasis. the study focuses on the key microenvironmental components that regulate the metastasis of heterogeneous breast cancer stem cells to different organs (such as abnormally colonized microorganisms, macrophages, bone marrow-derived suppressor cells, etc.), using microbiomics, single cell omics combined with lineage tracing using mouse models and other technologies, we can deeply explore the functions and specific mechanisms of the tumor microenvironment in the metastasis of heterogeneous breast cancer stem cells to specific organs.

(2) preclinical research on targeting heterogeneous breast cancer stem cells to inhibit breast cancer metastasis. through screening, we obtain small molecule compounds, neutralizing antibodies or specific antibiotic drugs that target heterogeneous cancer stem cells and their interaction with key components of the microenvironment, and use breast tumor spontaneous tumor mouse models and breast tumor metastasis to different organs. mouse models and pdx mouse models derived from primary and metastatic tumor tissues of chinese breast cancer were verified to explore innovative combination treatment ideas that target cancer stem cells and inhibit tumor metastasis.

3. job requirements and application conditions

(1) associate researcher/assistant researcher (1-2 people)
