1. Introduction to Jinfeng Laboratory

Jinfeng Laboratory is located on the bank of Fengqi Lake in Chongqing High-tech Zone, Western Science City. It is a strategic scientific and technological force created by Chongqing with the efforts of the whole city and a new R&D institution with independent legal personality. The laboratory covers an area of ​​128 acres, with a construction area of ​​135,000 square meters, supporting construction of 300,000 square meters of high-end talent housing and 1,100 acres of Fengqi Lake Park.

The laboratory takes the next generation diagnosis of major diseases as its core mission, and takes original theoretical innovation and theoretical breakthroughs in "stuck neck" technology as its primary goal. It is accelerating its construction into a comprehensive research base, a highland for the transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements, a high-end scientific and technological resource collection area, and a pioneer area for scientific and technological system reform.

2. Introduction by the PI, the leader of the research team

Wang Guixue is currently a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor in a double first-class key university. Mainly engaged in research on the pathogenesis of atherosclerotic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and tumor heart disease, biomechanics and tissue repair, nano-drug delivery, minimally invasive medical devices and rehabilitation engineering. He has presided over more than 30 major key projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels. He has co-published more than 450 papers in Chinese and English journals such as Nat Neurosci, Adv Sci, Bioact Mater, etc. He has been selected as an Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholar (internationally renowned scholar) in the field of biomedical engineering for three consecutive years from 2019 to 2021, and one of the top 100,000 scientists in the world. He is an academic leader in Chongqing and enjoys special government subsidies from the State Council. He has obtained more than 40 invention patent authorizations from the United States and China, won 2 first-class provincial and ministerial-level science and technology/teaching achievement awards (both ranked 1st), 5 second- and third-class awards, and 6 first-class university-level teaching and research awards (both ranked 1st). 3. Research direction of the research group

(1) Research on the mechanical and biological mechanisms of cerebrovascular disease.

(2) The mechanism of repair of cerebral vascular tissue damage and the development of intracranial stents.

(3) Research and development of nano-targeted drugs and treatment technologies for precise diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.

4. Job requirements and application conditions

(1) Researcher/Associate Researcher/Assistant Researcher (1-2 people)

1. Job content: Assist PI to guide postdoctoral fellows and scientific research assistants to carry out projects, write articles, apply for projects, etc.

2. Application requirements: Applicants must have obtained a doctoral degree in biology, biomedical engineering, pharmacology, materials science, basic medicine and related majors, have postdoctoral experience (applicants with basic knowledge of biomechanics, arteriosclerosis, and vascular biology are preferred), and are generally no more than 45 years old. Broad scientific vision, sharp thinking, strong insight, independent scientific research capabilities, high academic level and strong sense of responsibility, and certain organizational coordination and management capabilities.

3. Work location: Jinfeng Laboratory (full-time)

(2) Postdoctoral fellows (2-3 people)

1. Work content: Able to carry out independent research, conduct experiments, write articles, apply for projects, etc. under the guidance of PI.

2. Application requirements: Those who have obtained or are about to obtain a doctoral degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, basic or clinical medicine related majors (candidates with basic knowledge of biomechanics, arteriosclerosis, vascular biology, and medical imaging are preferred), independently write and publish one SCI paper, and are generally no more than 35 years old. Broad scientific vision, sharp thinking, strong insight, independent scientific research ability, hard work, and strong subjective initiative.

3. Work location: Jinfeng Laboratory (full-time)

(3) Scientific research assistants (3-5 people) (full)

1. Job content: 1 person to assist in daily management of the laboratory； 3-4 people carry out scientific research projects and complete experiments arranged by the PI (cell biology, molecular biology, biomechanics, biomaterials, animal models, etc.).

2. Application requirements: Master's degree or above in biology, biomedical engineering, pharmacology, basic or clinical medicine-related majors (Ph.D. preferred), age generally no more than 35 years old. Ability to perform project management responsibilities well ； Have the scientific research level and technical ability suitable for their own work, and have solid theoretical knowledge of medical experimental equipment and the ability to use equipment. Be serious and rigorous in work, have a strong sense of responsibility, be good at communication, have service awareness and teamwork spirit.
