1. introduction to jinfeng laboratory

jinfeng laboratory is located on the bank of fengqi lake in chongqing high-tech zone, western science city. it is a strategic scientific and technological force created by chongqing with the efforts of the whole city and a new r&d institution with independent legal personality. the laboratory covers an area of ​​128 acres, with a construction area of ​​135,000 square meters, supporting construction of 300,000 square meters of high-end talent housing and 1,100 acres of fengqi lake park.

the laboratory's overall positioning is to create a "new model" for chongqing laboratories and a "new force" for national laboratories. it takes the next generation diagnosis of major diseases as its core task, and takes original theoretical innovation and theoretical breakthroughs in "stuck neck" technology as its primary goals. it is accelerating its construction into a comprehensive research base, a highland for the transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements, a high-end scientific and technological resource collection area, and a pioneer area for scientific and technological system reform.

 

2. research direction of the research group

(1) tumor-neuron interaction mechanism. focusing on the complex interactions between tumors and nerves, focusing on the role of neural electrical signal transmission/chemical transmitter release/intercellular communication, and focusing on analyzing the molecular mechanisms of the interaction between cancer stem cells and neural stem cells/neurons/glia. lay the foundation for targeted intervention.

(2) stem cell and immune cell therapy. focusing on tumor-neuron interactions, we will carry out basic research on the application of stem cells, stem cell-derived organelles and chimeric antigen receptor-modified immune cell therapy.

(3) integration of medicine and engineering and instrument development. focusing on tumor-nerve interactions, we develop wide-field high-resolution photoelectric integrated dynamic detection systems, organoid chip systems, and scene-driven image recognition, video capture, and photoelectric signal analysis algorithms.

 

3. job requirements and application conditions

(1) associate researcher/assistant researcher (1-2 people)

1. job content: assist pi to guide postdoctoral fellows and scientific research assistants to carry out projects, write articles, apply for projects, etc.

2. application requirements: applicants must have obtained a doctoral degree in life sciences, computer science, bioinformatics, basic medicine and related majors, and should be generally no more than 40 years old. have rich scientific research experience and independent spirit of exploration, high academic level and strong sense of responsibility, organizational coordination and leadership skills.

3. work location: jinfeng laboratory (full-time).

(2) postdoctoral fellows (3-5 people)

1. work content: able to carry out independent research, conduct experiments, write articles, apply for projects, etc. under the guidance of pi.

2. application requirements: those who have obtained or are about to obtain a doctoral degree in life sciences, computer science, bioinformatics, basic medicine and related majors, and are generally not more than 35 years old. have a broad scientific vision, keen insight into the frontiers of scientific research, be down-to-earth and hard-working, and have a dedicated and innovative spirit.

3. work location: jinfeng laboratory (full-time).

(3) scientific research assistant (3-5 people)

1. job content: assist in carrying out scientific research projects and completing experiments arranged by the pi (molecular biology, cell biology, animal models, etc.).

2. application conditions:

(1) tumor-neurology research group:

① master's degree or above, majoring in oncology, neurodevelopment, neurobiology and other related majors.

② be proficient in neural stem cell culture and directed differentiation, brain slice and primary cell culture, cell microinjection, intracranial targeted injection, neural tracing, patch clamp, multi-channel electrophysiological recording, optogenetics, virus engineering, candidates with skills in molecular imaging and other technologies will be given priority.

(2) medical engineering and biotechnology group:

① master's degree or above, majoring in biomedical engineering, information and signal processing, electronic science and technology, computer, applied mathematics, and medical statistics.

② familiar with the operation of electrical and microscopic experimental equipment, and can carry out system hardware design and debugging or pc software programming preferred.

③ familiar with basic machine learning and data modeling algorithm models such as neural networks, master at least one computer language such as shell, perl, matlab or python. applicants with practical experience in image analysis, video capture, electrical signal analysis or multi-omics integration are preferred. .

(3) cell preparation quality control group:

① master's degree or above, majoring in testing, cell/molecular biology, biomedical engineering or related majors.

② applicants with experience in stem cell/immune cell culture, cell induction, viral transfection, quality control work, and laboratory qualification application experience will be given priority.
