jinfeng laboratory is located on the bank of fengqi lake in chongqing high-tech zone, western science city. it is a strategic scientific and technological force created by chongqing with the efforts of the whole city and a new r&d institution with independent legal personality. the laboratory covers an area of ​​128 acres, with a construction area of ​​135,000 square meters, supporting construction of 300,000 square meters of high-end talent housing and 1,100 acres of fengqi lake park.

2. introduction to the research group

the pi of the research group is the winner of the national young talent project. it has established a "dry-wet combination" scientific research platform, has high-performance servers and molecular cell experimental platforms, and has built bioinformatics, epigenetics, post-translational modification experimental systems and crispr screen, organoid, pdx and other technical methods. in recent years, he has led the team to publish a series of academic results in high-level journals such as nature, gastroenterology, nucleic acids res, cancer res, cell death & differ, etc., with sufficient funding for scientific research. the research team maintains long-term and close cooperation with harvard medical school, md anderson cancer center, and university of north carolina. undergraduate students, master's and doctoral students with strong learning ability and self-motivation are welcome to join the team. priority is given to those who are recommended to study for master's degree, ph.d. and study abroad.

4. job requirements and application conditions

(1) associate researcher/assistant researcher (1-2 people)

1. job content: assist pi to guide postdoctoral fellows and scientific research assistants, carry out projects, write articles, apply for scientific research projects at all levels, etc.

2. application requirements: phd degree in life sciences or basic medicine, generally no more than 40 years old. broad scientific vision, sharp thinking, strong insight, independent scientific research ability, high academic level and strong sense of responsibility, and certain organizational coordination and management capabilities.

(2) postdoctoral fellows (1-2 people)

1. work content: under the guidance of pi, independently conduct research, write articles, apply for projects, etc.

2. application requirements: have obtained or are about to obtain a doctoral degree in life sciences, basic or clinical medicine, independently write and publish one sci paper, and generally be no more than 35 years old. broad scientific vision, sharp thinking, strong insight, independent scientific research capabilities, hard work, and a dedicated and innovative spirit.

(3) scientific research assistant (2-3 people)

1. job content: 1 person will assist in the daily management of the laboratory; 1-2 people will carry out scientific research projects and complete experiments arranged by the pi (molecular biology, cell biology, animal models, etc.).

2. application requirements: bachelor's degree or above in life sciences, basic medicine or related majors (master's or doctoral degree preferred), age generally no more than 35 years old. can perform project management responsibilities well; have scientific research level and technical ability suitable for their own work; priority will be given to one of them who has a foundation in bioinformatics and statistics and is familiar with high-throughput data analysis (such as genome, transcriptome, chip seq, atac seq and scrna seq, etc.). be serious and rigorous in work, have a strong sense of responsibility, be good at communication, have service awareness and teamwork spirit.
