In order to enhance the ethical compliance awareness of laboratory researchers, standardize the ethical review process in scientific research activities, and help produce high-quality scientific research results, the Regulatory Science Lecture (Second Phase) was successfully held in Conference Room 302, Building 1, of the laboratory on April 16. This lecture focused on the theme of "Technology for Good Ethics - Ethical Standards and Common Issues in Scientific Research". Professor Chen Yongchuan, Director of the Drug Clinical Trial Institution Office of the First Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University, Director of the Phase I Clinical Trial Research Office, and Chairman of the Jinfeng Laboratory Ethics Review Committee, was specially invited to serve as the guest speaker. The lecture adopted the "offline + online" synchronous mode, and a total of 118 people from scientific researchers and related department personnel from multiple teams attended the meeting.

Professor Chen Yongchuan gave a systematic and in-depth explanation focusing on the core categories of scientific research ethics, review points and common misunderstandings in practice, combined with a large number of real cases and the latest policy requirements. Starting from the origin of ethical norms, it systematically elaborates on the basic principles of scientific research ethics, key links in the review process, and compliance points for different types of research (involving biological samples, clinical data, animal experiments, etc.). Professor Chen Yongchuan It particularly emphasized that "procedural justice and process norms are basic requirements of science", and revealed the devastating impact of procedural non-compliance on academic achievements through multiple real retraction cases. also, Professor Chen Yongchuan It also provides a detailed analysis of practical issues that are generally concerned by scientific researchers, such as ethical coordination in multi-center studies, exemption conditions for informed consent, secondary use of biological samples, and ethical considerations for animal experiments.

During the interactive Q&A session, the atmosphere was lively and participants actively asked questions. Professor Chen Yongchuan Practical issues such as the use of biological samples, data compliance, and review processes are answered one by one, effectively solving everyone's specific confusion in scientific research ethics. The entire lecture had a strong academic atmosphere, sufficient communication, and achieved good results.
The Jinfeng Laboratory Regulatory Science Center has always been committed to systematically improving the compliance literacy of laboratory researchers, and continues to launch a series of lectures focusing on various regulatory science issues in the entire scientific research process. By building a high-level communication platform, the center aims to promote the in-depth integration of compliance governance and scientific research practice, and provide solid support for laboratories to produce high-quality research results. In the future, the center will continue to focus on the areas of concern to scientific researchers and hold special lectures on more compliance hotspot issues to help the laboratory's scientific research work to achieve steady and long-term progress.
