exist In the academic report session, many experts gave wonderful reports. Professor Bu Hong, honorary chairman of the Pathology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and West China Hospital of Sichuan University, gave a report on "New Tasks of Digital Pathology" and analyzed the opportunities and challenges faced by digital pathology in clinical application. Professor Yang Lin, director of the Artificial Intelligence and Biomedical Imaging Laboratory of the College of Engineering of Westlake University, shared "New Progress in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Intelligence Medical Care" and introduced the latest application results of artificial intelligence technology in the medical field.
Professor Zhao Xilong, chief scientist of the Jinfeng Laboratory Biobank, released the "Progress in the Construction of Tens of Millions of Pan-Disease Standardized Pathology Database Plans" and the "Brain Tumor Standardized Pathology Data Set"”。
clear He Yonghong, professor at the Shenzhen International Graduate School of Hua University and part-time PI of the Jinfeng Laboratory, released the "PathDINOv3 Pathology Basics Large Model" trained on more than 1 million high-quality digital slices, which performed well in global classification and dense segmentation prediction tasks.。
Wang Liansheng, professor of Xiamen University and part-time PI of Jinfeng Laboratory, released the "Progress in the Construction of Jinfeng Intelligent Calculation Platform", which is open to scientific research institutions across the country.。
gold The Feng Wisdom Pathology Development Forum is an important academic exchange platform for Jinfeng Laboratory to promote the digital transformation of pathology departments. In April 2025, the laboratory held its first forum and announced the implementation of the first "tens of millions of pan-disease standardized pathology database plans." Over the past year, under the guidance of the Pathology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the Pathologist Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and with the collaborative support of government departments, medical institutions and enterprises, the laboratory has made breakthrough progress in the construction of high-quality data sets, the formulation of data standards, the construction of storage and computing infrastructure, the research and development of technology platforms, and the gathering of high-end talents. So far, the project has collected a total of 4.2 million digital pathology slides from 49 cooperative medical institutions in 21 provinces across the country. ; Systematically sorted out 187 nodes of the whole chain standard system, formulated 15 standard documents, and formed expert consensus on 4 items ; Build the largest biological data computing and storage platform in the western region, develop and launch a tool chain covering the entire pathology process, and explore a set of efficient data collection, standardization, governance, and security mechanisms to provide replicable and scalable "Golden Phoenix Practices" for the construction of high-quality pathology data” 。
gold The Feng Laboratory has been selected as one of the first batch of high-quality data set pilot construction units in the country, and has been approved to build the Pathological Phenotype Sub-Center of the National Genome Science Data Center. It has been officially incorporated into the National Bioinformatics Center system and has become the core node of my country's pathological data resources.。
Next, the laboratory will continue to focus on major national strategic needs, continue to deepen the "tens of millions of pan-disease standardized pathology database plan", work together to create technically feasible, practical and convenient, quality-assured AI-Ready high-quality data sets, deepen the implementation of scientific research innovation, clinical diagnosis, industry empowerment and other scenarios, and continue to contribute the "Golden Phoenix Power" to promote the Healthy China 2030 strategy and help Chongqing accelerate the construction of the "416" scientific and technological innovation layout.
