On the morning of February 4, 2026, the laboratory held a PI symposium. Laboratory strategic scientists and PI, laboratory and Chongqing-Guangdong Pathological Science Research Center leadership team members attended the meeting. The heads of the laboratory's scientific research units, transformation units, support units, and operation units attended the meeting. The meeting reported the laboratory's construction and development during the "14th Five-Year Plan", development ideas for the "15th Five-Year Plan", and performance evaluation of independent projects, and listened to the PI's opinions and suggestions on the construction and development of the laboratory during the "15th Five-Year Plan".

The meeting requested that all PIs should adhere to the same direction, focus on the core task of "next generation diagnosis of major diseases", and devote themselves to laboratory construction and development practices as "owners" to form a strong synergy to cultivate and strengthen new productive forces in life and health.； We must strive to maintain quality and quantity, promote the implementation of scientific research projects according to planned progress, pursue "high standards" to produce original results with golden phoenix recognition, and successfully complete the scientific research tasks they undertake. ； We must abide by rules and disciplines, be respectful, be wary, and stick to the bottom line. We must adhere to the "hard work style" to build a pure academic land, vigorously promote the spirit of scientists, and effectively maintain a strong innovation ecology.
