Introduction by the leader of the research group

Xie Peng, Director of the National Health Commission’s Key Laboratory of Diagnosis and Treatment of Functional Brain Diseases, the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, PI of Jinfeng Laboratory, chief scientist of the national "973 Program", expert with outstanding contributions to the Ministry of Health, and winner of the second National Innovation Award. He has long been committed to basic and clinical research on neurological diseases combined with affective disorders and cerebrovascular diseases. As the project leader, he presided over 16 projects including the national “863” plan, the national “973” plan, and the national key R&D plan. Published 456 SCI papers as corresponding author in The New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Nature Neuroscience and other magazines. He has won 1 second-class National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 first-class Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, 1 first-class Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 first-class Chongqing Natural Science Award, and 3 second-class Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Awards. Research results in the field of depression in children and adolescents have rewritten the U.S. FDA’s medication guidance and been included in 7 international authoritative guidelines. ； Research results in the field of intestinal microbiota in depression were selected into the "2019 Scientific Development Report" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and also received special recommendations and key recommendations from the American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2019 ； Innovative discoveries in the field of cerebral hemorrhage were included in the 2016 "China Medical Science and Technology Development Report" of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and relevant results were included in 7 international academic monographs and many domestic and foreign authoritative guides.

Research direction of the research group

Basic and clinical scientific issues of brain diseases such as neurological diseases and affective disorders: The team has long-term in-depth research on the pathogenesis and diagnosis and treatment methods of brain diseases such as neurological diseases and affective disorders, providing important theoretical support and practical guidance for clinical practice.

Job requirements and application conditions

Research Assistant (1 person)

1. Work content

Assist in carrying out scientific research projects and completing experiments arranged by the PI. The main work content is observation and feeding of large animal behavior.

2. Application conditions

(one) Master's degree in zoology, animal medicine, animal science and other related majors；

(two) Generally no more than 35 years old；

(3) Have the ability to adapt to the level and organization of the job and effectively carry out relevant work；

(4) Be serious and rigorous in doing things, have a strong sense of responsibility, be good at communication, have service awareness and teamwork spirit.

Jinfeng Laboratory (Full-time)。
