In order to meet the needs of laboratory scientific research work, the biomedical imaging platform will carry out operational skills training on flow cytometry analyzers and laser confocal microscopes. Those who pass the training and assessment will be granted independent operating qualifications for corresponding instruments. Qualified persons can make reservations for use during the opening hours of the instrument. Users who have needs are welcome to sign up.

Training 1: Flow Cytometry Analyzer Operation Training

Instrument introductionFlow cytometer It is a functional device that performs one-by-one, multi-parameter, rapid qualitative and quantitative analysis of single row cells or biological particles in a fast linear flow state. It is mainly composed of three parts: a liquid flow system, an optical system and an electronic system. It can qualitatively or quantitatively analyze cell proliferation, apoptosis, cytokines, chemokines, fluorescent proteins, antigen-specific responses, cellular immune phenotypes, etc., and is widely used in immunology, molecular biology, oncology, hematology, stem cells and other fields.

Main parameters

1. Equipped with 5 lasers: 355 nm, 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, 640 nm, up to 18 color analysis and 20 parameter detection can be performed simultaneously;

2. Fluorescence sensitivity: FITC < 80 MESF; PE < 30 MESF ; PE-Cy5 < 10 MESF ; APC < 70 MESF;
3. Maximum analysis speed: 40000 events/s
4. Detection resolution: CV < 3%
5. Detection sensitivity:≥ 0.5 μm。

Things to note

1. for Assure Training effect, the upper limit of the number of people in this training is10people. Users who have recent usage needs will be given priority to register, and they will need to complete a practical assessment on the afternoon of the training day.

2After successful registration, you must attend the training on time. If you are indeed unable to participate due to special reasons, you must contact the instrument administrator at least 1 working day in advance to explain the situation and cancel the application. Those who are absent without excuse will be disqualified from training registration within one month.

3. During the use of the instrument, you must strictly abide by the "Flow Cytometry Platform Management Rules" and consciously comply with Platform regulations.

Device functionsThis equipment is used to obtain high-definition, high-resolution confocal fluorescence images. Its main functions include: finely observing the morphological changes and internal microstructure of tissues or cells at the cellular and subcellular levels.; Perform tomography on samples to reconstruct and analyze the three-dimensional structure of tissues or cells. ; As well as monitoring dynamic changes in important ion concentrations.
