01 Alliance sets sail:

Leading new changes in pathological diagnosis with spatio-temporal multi-omics

The establishment of the Spatiotemporal Pathology Alliance aims to break through industry bottlenecks such as the difficulty in breaking through current large-scale pathology models and limited translation value. It relies on high-resolution spatiotemporal omics platforms such as Stereo-seq and FluoXpert multiple immunofluorescence to create a large multi-modal spatiotemporal pathology basic model.

The alliance will build a collaborative innovation system: on the one hand, it will open a large basic model of spatiotemporal pathology to each alliance unit, and rely on the BGI DCSP platform to provide technical support; On the other hand, it unites alliance hospitals to participate in model training through sample and data sharing, jointly develop special models for difficult clinical diagnosis scenarios, and prioritize the clinical diagnosis, treatment and scientific research of alliance units. At the same time, the alliance will connect with top international journal publishers, publish results in the form of albums, continue to enhance industry influence, and open up a new paradigm for AI pathology clinical translation research.
