Relevant units:

The application guidelines for Jinfeng Laboratory's 2026 "Development and Application of Automated Pathological Wax Block Storage System" project are now announced. Relevant matters are notified as follows. Please carry out project application in accordance with the guidelines.

1. Declaration requirements

For specific project application requirements, please refer to the Project Application Guide. In addition to meeting the corresponding conditions of the application guide, the following requirements must also be followed:

(1) Applicant’s requirements

1. The project leader should be a member of the leading unit, have senior professional and technical titles, and have relevant research background； Those who have undertaken two or more independent projects under research in the laboratory (except decision-making consulting) as project leaders shall not apply as project leaders.

2. Project participants should have relevant research backgrounds and be substantially involved in and responsible for the organization and implementation of the project.

(2) Application material requirements

1. The project application form must include relevant agreements, commitment letters and other attachments.

2. If the project is jointly declared, the lead applicant must sign a joint declaration agreement with all participating units and specify the signing time of the agreement.

3. The lead applicant unit, participating units, project leaders, and project team members must abide by the following requirements:

(1) Have a good integrity record and be responsible for the authenticity, completeness and compliance of application materials； The lead applicant and the project leaders of each participating unit must sign a letter of integrity commitment. If fraud is discovered, relevant units and individuals will be included in the negative list of laboratory scientific research integrity.

(2) Strictly abide by the scientific and technological ethics code, complete the scientific and technological ethics review work according to regulations, and consciously accept the supervision of relevant departments； The lead applicant unit and project leaders of each participating unit must provide relevant certification materials for ethical review.

(3) Strictly abide by the "Biosafety Law of the People's Republic of China" and relevant regulations on the safety of human genetic resources and biological resources； The project leaders of the lead applicant unit and participating units must sign corresponding commitment letters.

(3) Other requirements

1. The research contents and assessment indicators listed in the guide are the minimum requirements that need to be met during project assessment.

2. The specific implementation period of this project shall be subject to the signing time of the agreement.

2. Application procedures

(1) Fill in the project application form

The project leader fills out the "Jinfeng Laboratory Independent Project (Task System) Application Form" according to the content and requirements of the application guide, and ensures that it is standardized, accurate and complete.

(2) Submit project application form

1. The project leader shall send the main text of the project application form and relevant attachment materials in electronic form to the email address: kyxm@jflab.ac.cn. The unit stamp page shall be submitted in the form of a PDF scan.

2. Email subject and compressed package naming: applicant unit + applicant + project name, related materials naming: Attachment X + attachment name.

(3) Acceptance of application forms

The deadline for collecting materials is January 10, 2026. Applications after the deadline will not be accepted. After the project application is accepted, the laboratory scientific research management team will conduct a formal review. After passing the application, external experts will be organized to carry out the project review work, and the project list will be determined through comprehensive evaluation and published publicly.

3. Others

The relevant content of this notice will serve as an important basis for project establishment, project assessment, and project acceptance. Any matters not covered will be fully interpreted by the laboratory.
