Lecture title: Transformation of metabolic diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors
Introduction to the speaker

Hua Wei , Chief Physician, Professor, and Master Supervisor of the Department of Neurosurgery, Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University; Under the tutelage of Academician Zhou Liangfu, he serves as the youth deputy director of the Glioma Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the young backbone of the skull base sub-specialty of the department. ; The research direction is the metabolism mechanism of malignant brain tumors and the transformation of diagnosis and treatment. Minimally invasive brain tumor resection, comprehensive treatment of malignant brain tumors and the promotion of new technologies have been carried out for a long time. He has published more than 60 papers and won the Wang Zhongcheng Young Physician Award, the first prize of Shanghai Outstanding Invention Award three times, the third prize of Shanghai Employee Innovation Achievement Award, the first prize of Shanghai Starlight Project, the first prize of Shanghai Anti-Cancer Association Science and Technology Award, the top ten medical young people of Fudan University, and the top young talents of Shanghai. He studied at San John's Health Center in Los Angeles, the United States, the High Impact Cancer Research Project of Harvard University, and the IRCAD Project in Strasbourg, France. In 2017, he went to Luolong County in Tibet.
Lecture Introduction
Professor Hua Wei's team is committed to research on the mechanism of metabolism of malignant brain tumors and the translation of diagnosis and treatment. The lecture will start from analyzing the important metabolic reprogramming characteristics of malignant brain tumors, to revealing the core mechanisms of metabolism, and then to the treatment strategies of metabolic target intervention. It will systematically analyze the complex mechanisms and targeting strategies of metabolic abnormalities in malignant brain tumors, and provide a basis for the precise treatment of malignant brain gliomas.
