jinfeng laboratory came into being with the construction of the chengdu-chongqing twin-city economic circle. it is the first "chongqing laboratory" in our city's "416" scientific and technological innovation layout. the laboratory takes "next generation diagnosis of major diseases" as its core mission, and takes original theoretical innovation and "stuck neck" technical basic theoretical breakthroughs as its primary goals. it lays out a scientific research platform, gathers talents from all over the world, builds a scientific research matrix, and carries out organized scientific research. accelerate the creation of an open, hub-type, and platform-type scientific and technological innovation center, and strive to open up a new track for the development of the future diagnosis and treatment industry. the laboratory covers an area of ​​128 acres, with a construction area of ​​135,000 m², supporting construction of 300,000 m² of high-end talent housing and 1,100 acres of fengqi lake park. the laboratory has a strong academic atmosphere, complete scientific research conditions, and complete supporting services. it is not only a stage for displaying talents, innovation and entrepreneurship, but also a platform for climbing to new heights and realizing dreams.

introduction by the subject leader

liu yong, doctoral supervisor, director of the department of ophthalmology at the first affiliated hospital of army medical university, visiting scholar at schepens eye institute of harvard medical school, chongqing talent innovation leading talent, and chief scientist of the national key r&d program. the main research direction is the mechanism of retinal degenerative diseases and translational medicine research. he has hosted 5 national natural science foundation projects, hosted and participated in many projects such as the 973 national key basic research and development program and the national key r&d program. he led the launch of the fourth clinical trial of stem cell treatment for retinal degeneration in the world and the first in china, and established my country's first technical specifications and clinical treatment plan for stem cell intraocular transplantation. relevant results have been published in cell discovery, stem cell reports and other magazines as the first author or corresponding author. a total of 30 sci papers have been published, and the papers have been recommended and commented on many times.

research direction of the research group

translational medical research on gene therapy for blinding eye diseases.

the research team uses genetic methods to analyze the causative genes and mutation characteristics of blinding hereditary eye diseases, elucidates the pathogenesis of the disease at the cell, organoid and animal levels, researches and develops gene therapy products for blinding hereditary eye diseases, and explore the effectiveness and safety of gene therapy products through cells, organoids, animals and clinical trials to provide new and effective methods for the treatment of patients with blinding genetic eye diseases.

job requirements and application conditions

(1) senior researcher/general researcher (1-2 people)

1. job content: independently (senior researcher) or assisting pi (general researcher) to guide postdoctoral fellows and research assistants to carry out relevant scientific research projects, write articles, apply for projects, etc.

2. application conditions:

(1) have obtained a doctoral degree in ophthalmology, basic medicine or biology-related majors (genetics, neurobiology, physiology, molecular biology or developmental biology is preferred);

(2) the age is generally not more than 40 years old;

(3) published at least 1 high-level sci paper as the first or corresponding author in the past five years;

(4) have rich scientific research experience and independent exploration spirit, have high academic level and strong sense of responsibility, organizational coordination and leadership skills.

3. work location: jinfeng laboratory (full-time).

(2) postdoctoral fellow (1-2 persons)

1. work content: able to carry out independent research, conduct experiments, write articles, apply for projects, etc. under the guidance of pi/co-pi.

2. application conditions:

(1) have obtained or are about to obtain a doctoral degree in ophthalmology, basic medicine, or biology-related majors (genetics, neurobiology, physiology, molecular biology, or developmental biology is preferred);
