1. introduction to jinfeng laboratory

jinfeng laboratory is a strategic scientific and technological force created by the city to implement the national strategy of building a twin-city economic circle in the chengdu-chongqing region, accelerate the construction of a scientific and technological innovation center with national influence, and is the "number one project" of the western (chongqing) science city. the laboratory covers an area of ​​128 acres, with a construction area of ​​135,000 square meters, supporting construction of 300,000 square meters of high-end talent housing and 1,100 acres of fengqi lake park.

jinfeng laboratory is a new scientific research institution with independent legal personality. it implements the laboratory director responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors. mayor hu henghua serves as the first chairman of the board, and academician bian xiuwu serves as the first laboratory director. the laboratory takes the next generation diagnosis of major diseases as its core mission, and takes original theoretical innovation and theoretical breakthroughs in "stuck neck" technology as its primary goal. it gathers talents from all over the world, builds a scientific research matrix, carries out organized scientific research, and strives to create an open and hub it will accelerate the construction of a "new model" of chongqing laboratories and a "new force" of national laboratories.

2. introduction by the person in charge of the research group

the leader of the collaborative team studies the regulatory mechanisms focusing on epigenetics and tumor cell fate determination and microenvironment remodeling. as the project leader, he presides over overseas outstanding youths, outstanding youths, outstanding youths, key projects, key special projects, and key r&d programs of the ministry of science and technology. he won the first prize of the shanghai science and technology progress award, the young researcher of the chinese society of cell biology, and the outstanding mentor of the chinese academy of sciences. he has published more than 70 papers as the corresponding author in cancer cell (2 papers), molecular cell, j clin invest (5 papers), j exp med, nat commun (3 papers), pnas and other magazines. the paper has been reviewed by cancer cell, cancer discov, j clin invest, j exp med and other highlights for many times, and has been reported by the media.

3. research direction of the research group

the study integrates multi-omics methods combined with organoids and spontaneous tumor models, focusing on the functions and mechanisms of microenvironment dynamic remodeling (immunity, metabolism, neural regulation) in tumor metastasis and recurrence, with a view to promoting clinical translation.

(1) cell fate determination and microenvironmental regulation mechanisms in early colonization, dormancy, and recurrence of colorectal cancer liver metastasis;

(2) the mechanism by which microenvironmental functional cell subpopulations and their key biological macromolecules lead to drug resistance under drug treatment, and then develop new intervention strategies that target the microenvironment to inhibit tumor recurrence and metastasis.

4. job requirements and application conditions

(1) associate researcher/assistant researcher (1-2 people)

1. job content: assist pi to guide postdocs and scientific research assistants to carry out projects, be willing to take on challenging projects, write articles, apply for projects, etc.

2. application conditions:

(1) have obtained a doctoral degree in life sciences, basic medicine or related majors; have published first or corresponding author papers in international core academic journals. those with a background in oncology or immunology will be given priority.

(3) have rich scientific research experience and independent exploration spirit, high academic level, strong sense of responsibility, organizational coordination and leadership skills.

(2) postdoctoral fellows (2-3 people)

1. work content: able to carry out independent research, conduct experiments, write articles, apply for projects, etc. under the guidance of pi.

2. application conditions:

(1) have obtained a doctoral degree in life sciences, basic medicine or related majors; have published good sci papers as the first author, and have specialized experimental skills in tumors, immunity or nerves.

(2) age is generally not more than 35 years old;

(3) scientific research assistant (1-2 people)

1. job content: assist in carrying out scientific research projects and completing experiments arranged by the pi (molecular biology, cell biology, animal models, etc.).
