Lecture: Application of tumor microenvironment in clinical functional proteomics
Introduction to the speaker
Dr. Gao Weina,Former research assistant professor and master's supervisor in the Department of Chemistry, Southern University of Science and Technology. In 2016, he obtained a doctorate in traditional Chinese medicine from the Macau University of Science and Technology, and in the same year he joined Southern University of Science and Technology for postdoctoral research. Currently, it is mainly committed to signal transduction research, related bioinformatics analysis and tool development in tumor microenvironment, and methodological development and clinical application research of glycoproteomics. He has published more than 20 papers in mainstream international academic journals, including Nature, Nat. Commun., etc. In 2020, he won the C-class talent of "Peacock Program" for Shenzhen's overseas high-level talent. In August 2021, he applied for approval of the National Youth Science Fund and participated in many national provincial and ministerial fund projects.
Main content of the lecture
In this lecture, the speaker Gao Weina focused on the application of tumor microenvironment in clinical functional proteomics.
First, the speaker carefully sorted out the development history of proteomics, deeply analyzed the technical challenges faced in this field, and demonstrated its wide application scenarios. Among them, the 2024 annual technology - space proteomics selected by the journal Nature Methods is focused on.
The speaker elaborated in detail on the specific application of this technology in cutting-edge research topics such as tumors and COVID-19 injury. Taking the team's research published in Nature in 2024 as an example, it systematically and comprehensively elaborated on the breakthrough progress of spatial proteomics technology in analyzing the immune microenvironment of pancreatic cancer.
Jinfeng Laboratory Cell Multiomics Platform has now begun to provide space proteomics services. The speaker also specifically introduced the significant advantages of the platform space proteomics service solution in practical applications. The solution integrates a variety of advanced omics technologies, overcomes many bottlenecks in the technical process of traditional schemes, and achieves the detection depth of milligram samples for nanogram samples based on accurate cutting and complete collection.
